The Paradise Adventist Girls Volleyball team won its 20th match of the season last night with a 4 set win over visiting Mercy High School 25-10, 25-17, 16-25, 27-25. With the win the Cougars have eclipsed the 20 win mark for the 4th year in a row. Prior to that the Cougars had only won 20 matches in a season only one other time, in 2013. It was the cast of usual characters who led the way for the Cougars with Stacy Wisener getting 14 kills on 42 attempts and senior Lauryn Hieb right behind with 10 kills on 34 attempts. Setter Lyra Potter racked up 27 assists and 4 aces to help guide the Cougars as well. Cougars have one regular season match left when they travel to Princeton today at 5:30pm then will look to defend their division 6 section championship in next weeks playoffs. Currently Paradise Adventist is ranked 6th in the playoff points.
